  3.  @sniffersmc2827  using a hammer on a steel door, no matter how you try to repair it, is far dumber than anything said in this thread. Why not bring some actual tools like a drill or sawzall? Maybe because he's an idiot criminal.

  4. Rope guy could have used a climbing descender and had a nice, smooth, safe descent into the store. Problem was that takes money, so he has to break into the sporting goods store and steal said climbing equipment before he can use it for robberies lol. Hey, that's a good writing prompt for a story, a trained thief goes to REI, buys pro-level climbing gear as he cases the place, and comes back that night and robs the store via cutting a hole in the ceiling and using the purchased gear to execute the proper technical climbing in their infiltration and egress.
