  1. Dwayne Coy You are wrong. Social Security saved the elderly from starvation. FDIC saved the banking industry. He did get millions back to work through government jobs fixing infrastructure. He saved the economy from what happened in 2008 and now, booms and busts happening in the economy because the Glass-Steagal Act prevented banks from owning investment firms and corporations were not allowed to run up debt buying their own stocks. The only reason Roosevelt wasn't more successful was because Congress wouldn't approve enough spending until WWII started.

  2. K Kr The worst thing FDR did was start farm subsides. The Federal government could have bought all the farm land in America instead of putting farmers on a lifetime of handouts.
