  1. @GarthanSaal444 It’s critical to your adult life to put your past behind you, forget about losers from the past and do your best to to support yourself financially. There’s lots of educational videos on YouTube that can help you get focused and find good purpose. Unfortunately, women are socially stupid while thinking they’re queens of sociability. I went through the same thing where girls were nice, didn’t want me until after they had their bad boy experience, at which point I looked at them like they were insane if they thought I’d date them after they rejected me for some jerk. Move on and keep in touch with good friends as much as possible.

  4. I live in a nice neighborhood (a majority of neighborhoods) in Chicago and it's different than the bad areas that make the news. Yes the bad areas are very bad, but in reality Chicago is much better overall than 30 years ago. Yes, it's more expensive than rural areas and taxes are a bit high. Yes it seems to be liberal, but in reality most of that is gris for the masses. 90% of tax money actually goes into necessary government functions. Most of people are working people who don't put up with nonsense. Maybe it's because we're in the middle of the Midwest and people need to be sensible to survive winters, which are months shorter than when I was young. I really like the conveniences and services, and will likely stay as long as I can afford it. In my 60's, being alone in the woods is not appealing.
