I wonder if Toyota promoted someone with a MBA from Harvard… sounds like short term profits for long term problems.

Quality of cars peaked at least 10 years earlier.

My 1997 Honda CRV was made in Japan. I sold it after 20 years, never had a major problem. No major parts replaced, only normal wear and tear parts. Air conditioning needed to recharged once. Point goes to Japanese build.

I bought the 1997 Honda CRV the first year it came out and didn’t have a problem for 18 years… but it was built in Japan.

Maybe cover license plate number, generally done with other car videos.

Did you skip checking engine oil level?

Same with Honda, quality down a bit. Japanese built cars are the still the best quality.

Tesla manufacturing truly is 8 years ahead. This Lexus is a rebuilt gasoline car, unlike Tesla being pure electric.

Thank you. I was wondering why my turbo charged 1997 Honda CRV would indicate 10% oil life left in as short as 9 months and sometimes down a half quart of oil. I live in Chicago where winters are cold, a lot of short trips and a lot of speeding up to get on the expressway on an engine that's not completely warmed up.
