  1. Bush Sr. was actually an excellent President. He was fiscally conservative and worked with both parties and all countries of the world. He was undermined by Republicans for his fiscal conservatism. He wasn't a showman so he lost the election. He set up things so Bill Clinton could get an almost balanced budget.
