  1. There's debt because of the way the money system is set up. The Treasury needs to take control of the dollar and simply create the money necessary to keep the economy going without counting it as debt. Treasury can limit inflation by limiting the creation of money when inflation goes up. The only reason there is any national debt is because of accounting and giving authority over currency to the Federal Reserve, which is not part of the Constitution. The way the dollar is created through the Federal Reserve primarily benefits the wealthy and harms the average person.
