  2.  @michaelc1063  Layoffs come first, but that’s not likely because we’ve lost enough of the working population to Covid problems. 1% to 2% died, more retired because of long term Covid tiredness (a friend and I had that, thought it was old age until the Moderna booster cured it), medical people who left because they couldn’t take it, and all the people that left the workforce to take care of someone. No one has done a study on total people who no longer work, but likely to be pretty high with all the unfilled jobs and rising wages.
