In reality, China out competed the United States for the last 30 years and drained our wealth because our economic elites conned our politicians into believing 'free trade' was good and our superior system (of uneducated, drugged up and self-entitled youth) would continue to produce high value added products while China would produce low value products. Somehow China moved up after Moa's death, like Japan did earlier and created a highly educated and motivated work force. It was our 1% who sold our factories on the cheap, with laws passed by our politicians, to China so they could produce goods cheaply while we here in the United States produced less and less. Sorry, but I see amazing value added products created in China that could never be produced in the United States for half the cost. It's probably too late in the game to change things. At least tariffs will help the budget deficit. Yes, I'm old enough to have witnessed it all while it sadly happened.

  3. Not going to happen. No big single currency is run by an open, independent and competent central bank as the Federal Reserve. It's really saved the United States economy in spite of the horrendous politicians and self-serving capitalists that are ruining the country.
