  1. Powell doesn't go shopping so he wouldn't notice inflation. I wonder if any of these talking heads go shopping. When you buy a product that is the same price, but weighs less or has less items, is inflation in the real world. Housing, automobile prices and food are higher. Building materials and major household appliances are up 20% in the last year. I see the economy picking up fast, but will be a surprise to these talking heads in a couple months when it shows up in their reports.
