  2. We have 20% to 25% more currency now than a year ago. There is inflation and inflation will get worse as money velocity accelerates to what it was before. The idea that imports will not go up with so many more dollars floating around is a complete fantasy.

  3.  @azjaguar  Prices go up, stay up, that’s inflation. I don’t think you’re taking into consideration global demand. China and other Asian countries has about 5 trillion dollars to buy goods it needs and is buying U.S. goods whether there is demand in the U.S. or not. Goods go to the highest bidder whether a speculator or a final customer. I only see U.S. prices going up as countries all over the world recover from the pandemic.
