Quantum computers seem to be just around the corner, just like fusion power.

Actually, Nvidia dropped because California public retirement fund sold Nvidia stocks to buy another stock. Nvidia has at least a four year backlog for its A100.

At the very least, AI can give quick answers to complex questions using retrieval augmented generation which can save someone like an engineer or programmer a great deal of time not having to look up and cross reference material to find an answer. AI can also act as a brainstorming partner to come up with possible solutions or generate required documents. AI is doing amazing things at driver assistance and can do self-driving in a limited way. AI is excellent at analyzing repetitive tasks, such as reviewing scans for cancer. AI still needs a person to weed out any incorrect results. AI will likely be outperforming most experts in repetitive work in a few years. Then come the robots run by AI.

Yours is one of the few videos that I need to slow to normal speed with occasional rewinds so I can keep up with the great content you provide. May more tech firms find your channel and sponsor your content.

That was a previous generation that’s part of history. How about focusing on today’s world? By the way, Jews support Hitler’s rise to power. They also were high up in U.S. government and knew about the concentration camps and allies made sure they didn’t bomb the railways to the camps, nor the camps. One of my great aunts died in Dachau.

Seems like vaporware

As father, as son (AI)

@orangegames3284 It’s not just their chip, it’s their custom designed AI computer for auto driving is years ahead ahead of anyone else.
2
Nvidia may have its own internal AI used in chip design to keep them ahead of competitors.

I disagree. Technology lifts standard of living for all people. As a 65 year old man in the U.S., I am deeply aware of how much technology has improved healthcare, safer air travel and efficient safe automobiles. YouTube and the internet allows anyone to learn anything, being only limited by their own intelligence and willingness to make the effort. Amazon is multiples better than the old Sears catalogue shopping. There are so many new and innovative products available today that weren’t even thought of 30 years ago. Almost everyone can afford a smart phone that opens them to the world, more processing power than early super computers. There’s always been super rich and very poor, nothing new there. Most people became and become super wealthy by providing products and services people need or want. Standard Oil saved whales by providing standardized safe kerosene that made whale oil obsolete and too expensive. Optimism is warranted.

Just keep buying if you can afford it.

We’ve been going through the Industrial Revolution hype cycle for 150 years.
1
Yes, Intel dropped the ball the last 20 years.
1
We are entering a world of those who do well because of their at using AI and those who don’t.
1
Hasn’t been a trough of disillusionment for the Industrial Revolution for 150 years.
1
Intel likely has many great engineers, it’s been poor leadership that set Intel back.

China made its advanced based on work by using Llama and other open source models. China used Nvidia chips to train their models and will continue to use them. Nvidia is the leader of chips for AI, gaming and crypto currency processing. Nvidia is also deeply involved in with corporations for using AI. Current AI is not accurate enough and future training will need to more processing power to continue to advance. At some point in the future the difference in models will be negligible, but we are at least a couple years away from that.

It’s not just the chips, Tesla has a custom designed computer that allows for radar, ultrasonic and other sensory inputs. See video https://youtu.be/NJVcsvQ30AQ
1
Not necessarily, many businesses have proprietary data that could use Groq.
1
@AnastasiInTech I believe Nvidia is using AI already for chip design.
1
What us the biggest software trend… AI. Who’s chips power AI… Nvidia. As a long time investor, don’t put all your investments in one company unless you’ve done a thorough analysis of the economics and companies involved.

You’re not old, I remember excitement of microcircuit development for Apollo program from 1960’s.
1
It will be an interesting battle of the Titans.

Few people know how to interact with LLM (Large Language Models). More people will become more efficient with their work and be able to create more for less even with zero improvements in AI. There’s also RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation).
1
Jensen of Nvidia said in a recent interview that Nvidia has been using AI to design its chips.
1
There’s shortages in every aspect of AI and LLM, especially training people in getting the maximum benefits out of using these technologies.
1
Nvidia uses its most perfect chips for servers, less perfect for 5090 chips and down the line. It’s a matter of what’s available to supply to various markets. Also, gamers are competing against crypto currency processing.

Things are getting there!

They already do… and using AI!
