Same everywhere in the world, game is rigged. Most people pretend to play.

Mao destroyed Chinese standards. China went hyper speed from a poor third world economy to a quickly built 1st world economy, a lot of standards were skipped.

The main difference is, in the U.S. you get to openly complain about the politicians that betray their voters and sell themselves to the highest bidder.

That's what ancient Rome did to the Christian Church, bringing the church under the leadership of emperor Constantine.
20
It’s the fault of politicians not regulating products sold in their countries and banning companies.

Mugdho MNS. Really? Some of the worse people I've seen or met tout religion.

What are you going to do? The game is rigged. The wealthy get to use tax write offs, corporate structures and legal loopholes to avoid paying taxes and get away with financial fraud that’s not prosecuted. The exceptions are people like Bernie Madoff that stole from other rich people.

Walmart was the company that started the flood of inexpensive Chinese goods, unlikely to change.

A lot of Chinese money is in Silicon Valley.

China is becoming a threat to U.S. national security, so the U.S. government has every right to make investments illegal in China based on the commerce clause in the Constitution.

Tall buildings sway. Steel can flex, concrete loses its structural integrity if flexed excessively. Likely the concrete in steel tubes have cracked and causing excess stress on the steel tubes, causing more flex and stretching on tubes.

@titanbuck7 Communism doctrine is world domination.

Taiwan and the United States needs to separate from mainland China. Taiwan can't be so strongly tied to mainland China and expect to remain free.
2
Make the dollar more worthless by making the U.S. an unreliable trading partner. The U.S. needs to export high value products. China will only suffer temporarily until its engineers eventually create their own home grown technology. They don't need to steal anything. Once it's known something can be done, people (Chinese) will figure out how to do it.

Could building sway cause concrete in support column tubes to crumble?

License plates are also needed in the U.S.

Steroids have been used since the 1930’s. Get real, there’s a reason so many sports records were broken since then.

@leithx7595 Yes, I made some generalizations to keep my comments short. Life is full of variety, nuances, exceptions and a few exceptional people.

@MsWarbucks Ancient ethics are highly questionable, especially when you look at Ancient Rome. Slavery was a well accepted practice. Brutal punishment like crucifixion was common. Seizing other people’s countries through War was normal. Prior to Christianity taking over, almost any kind of sexual practice was acceptable.

@johntaylor2683 Some get out, in the future the best talent will leave China before they get notice by the CCP and get imprisoned by China’s boarders.

Taiwan messed up because it didn't split from China completely after Mao took over. If they had taken a Taiwan identity back the, there wouldn't be problems with China now and Taiwan would have kept its seat in the UN.
1
gee tay It's unfortunate U.S. politicians have a habit of stabbing its allies and citizens in the back for making a few dollars more.

Forces on the concrete filled steel tubes near the base are enormous. It would be helpful if samples were made in vertical tube columns on various floors to determine if concrete is failing.
1
Give it up or mainland China will invade Taiwan someday.
1
Same thing happened to spillway in U.S. last year.
