  3. I'm white, lived in mixed Chicago neighborhoods my whole life and my heart bleeds for the vast majority of Black people who are decent and caring family loving people. Yes, it seems poor blacks are being betrayed by their representatives in government and driven out of the city so developers can swoop in and do a mass gentrification conversion of another poor neighborhood.

  4. Ano Nymous Stop being a stupid sap. These executives have no more right to getting paid as anyone else. They basically stole the money from the people doing business with them because they took there money knowing they were about to declare bankruptcy and not deliver services people were paying for. In any other context, this is deceptive business practice, fraud and theft. The executives who planned this should be prosecuted for theft, fraud and collusion for stealing from these people.

We have laws because people demanded we have laws. We have police because people want professional law enforcement. There is no utopia anywhere. People, especially young people, often make very bad choices. Some cultures have no respect towards what most people call 'social norms' like not shooting others because of an argument or stealing because of being owed something because of some historic wrong.

  18. Sweden has a lower rate because it's less densely populated. China and New York City had to lock down and that saved thousands of lives.
