  1. I used to work for federal government, so much waste. Minimum 20% of budget could be cut by Musk doing government efficiency. 10% of Social Security could be saved by limiting retirement benefits to people who paid into system for 25 to 30 years. Medicare could save 10% by limiting benefits to people who paid in for 25 to 30 years. Defense budget could be cut by 30% if we would stop overpaying military contractors, close foreign bases and stopped getting involved in foreign wars. Stop giving money to adults who should be working.

  7. Options are the quickest way to go broke. People should do practice trade until they figure things out. Once they think they’re good enough, only trade the ‘best’ 30% of the time. The other 70% of the time observe what goes on the the market, own predictions and economy. It’s virtually impossible to do single day trading because that’s dominated by computer trading systems. Figure out a longer time period to fully execute your trades. Sell quickly if things go opposite of what you predicted would happen. Always be able to answer the question “Why do I think this will be a successful trade”

  16.  @lilblackduc7312  Most money is spent on selected government contractors that do cost plus guarantee profit for whatever extras they charge. Republicans even opposed Medicare from doing competitive bidding for drugs. It’s illegal for people in U.S. to order the exact same quality medicines from places like Canada and Western Europe that have exact same standards. Corruption is miles deep in Washington and we don’t have freedoms.

  18. We didn’t have tariffs under Biden and prices went up 30% to 50%. Reality says prices go up with government deficit spending and excess regulation. Tariffs and labor add minor amounts to prices of most manufactured goods.

  21. I’m well off because of patiently studying stocks for many many hours on my own, no network needed. Simplest advice… find corporations with most profitable in demand products and stick with them until they mess up. They’ll be among the most popular stocks that hedge funds hold which are publicly available.

  29. Excellent presentation for the less skilled investors. My opinion is to choose wisely. Make the effort and figure out which individual stocks have the greatest potential for growth, not necessarily based on past performance. Also look at which stocks are heavily weighted in index funds. Many funds are heavily weighted in the best stocks. Don’t put in money that you may need within the next year because of potential market drops that we need to sometimes ride out. Don’t gamble!

  30. Stocks go up and stocks go down, that’s the way of the game. The fear play may very well be over. Stock value is ultimately based on profits and employment, both look good. When Ukraine war ends and trade issues are resolved, stocks will rebound.

  32. Government overpromised on Social Security. Inflation is double of official figures. More inflated dollars will go into Social Security as inflation goes up while payments are reduced in real terms. This will partially fix the problem, bad for old people without assets. Medicare will also get more money because more people will hit IRMA penalties because their income is high.

  39. Commercial real estate problems were localized, but crisis did not happen. Housing is likely going through the same. Housing problems where housing was overbuilt will have drops in prices, but the rest of country will likely remain stable. Job market is not melting down. Tariffs are likely to contribute 1% to 2% of overall inflation. Deregulation on federal level will likely have a slight reduction in inflation. Other than fear mongers in media, economy doesn’t look bad.

  40. Factories take less than a year to move from one country to another. China bought out factories from U.S. and had them running in 9 months. Musk builds his factories in less than 2 years. Federal deficit spending is the main cause of inflation.

  47. Employees can quiet quit because of lazy and incompetent supervisors and managers that can’t or won’t evaluate work properly. I quiet quit 20 years ago and brought my stock investing to work on at work. Management didn’t notice because they though I was doing work for them, not myself. Retired 5 years ago.
