  1. The lockdown was to prevent overwhelming hospitals. 'Flattening the Curve' never presumed that fewer people would catch the virus... it was only to prevent everyone from catching it at once. The mortality rate is very low now because there are treatments available for the severe cases. If you're too scared to live free then stay home. We have a very generous welfare program. btw, I've had it and it was no big deal.
