  3.  @hariyadhuvanshi  It was scheduled for August, but the EU has resisted Trump expanding invitations to India, Japan, S. Korea, Australia, and Russia. (going from G7 to G12) The obvious goal is to create trade agreements which exclude China. Pompeo was in Europe this week trying to get them on board. Trump said that if the EU wants to side with China, we'll move ahead without them. Expect the Summit in September.

  7. Reducing oil from the mix is a good longterm goal, but India is vulnerable to China now. Even the best military operations require secure supply lines of fuel. As a crude producer and major shipping power, the U.S. can guarantee supply.
