And DW loves pushing that fear. They advocate no personal rights outside of social responsibility. Socialism

Christina Reynolds Personal Sovereignty. The right to decide and act in my own best interest. Freedom from government intrusion and constant 'Big Brother' oversight. Governments WILL exploit your fear to further social control. It's the basic premise of 'One for All, NOT All for One'.

@coachmoses7229 Personally, I won't be mandated anything. I trust my doctor, not my government, so if it's in my best interest to get vaccinated I'll do it. I'm fortunate to have worked hard and retired early, debt free. I have 3 acres of land in the BlueRidge mountains and my sovereignty is protected by dogs and guns. I only want the same freedom for everyone, no matter where you call home.

@katharina... Agreed! "There is nothing new under the sun." The prosperity of freedom inevitably leads to the complacency of socialism. (over and over again)

@coachmoses7229 Maduro is an international drug lord. Venezuela's chief textile export is cocaine. His terroristic reign in the triad area is criminal. I wish we could just leave him alone, but his expansion of evil is contaminating the continent. You're right about the inundation of faulty data. Media loves sensationalism, and they'll even lie to report it.

I subbed this channel hoping for global perspective. If DW accurately reflects the world's 'Doom and Gloom' attitude, I don't want any part of it.

Christina Reynolds The function of State should be to empower individuals... Not to socially engineer the populous. 'Spontaneous Social Organization' is a real phenomenon which governments don't recognize.

@GS-wz1ud That's not exactly true. Many have died defending your rights.

@alepuc89 lol. That's true, however I do protect my property and I value my rights and freedom.

@jhostintola3092 I'm not selfish, in fact my friends consider me generous... And I would never endanger others. I respect the right to life, liberty, and property.

@thefourthrabbit9516 I'm not an Anarchist or a total Libertarian. I'm a Constitutional Conservative. I know that the power of the state comes from the governed. I don't want to see our air and water polluted, or natural resources squandered for quick profit. The 'public goods dilemma' is just that... a dilemma. There's a fine line between free-riding and social loafing. Promoting large-scale social cooperation is only a Federal function when it relates to interstate and international commerce as agreed to by the states. The Federal Government should never assume this regulatory power for the purpose of social engineering. For example; the federal government has no business getting involved in issues like 'marriage' and 'abortion'. These are state and local concerns. Governments should recognize their limited role and insure ultimate power to the individual. Consult the 9th and 10th amendments.

@GS-wz1ud I didn't say governments have always been Just. You're right this time though; many of the dead do care, even if their sacrifice only contributes to social education.

@thefourthrabbit9516 BTW. I also have a renewed appreciation of our FDA. Until developing nations are educated to the global consequences of their culture, pandemics like this covid thing will continue. China Has No Excuse! Their social acceptance of unregulated wet-markets has got to stop!

@GS-wz1ud Okay... I see you drank the koolaid. There's no such thing as 'white privilege'. Don't blame others for your own poor decisions. Accepting personal responsibility for your actions is the first step to success. If you live in America your opportunities are boundless.
