  4. America was blessed to NOT have a substancial percentage of a certain religion, that's why you can still talk about melting pot. It's not a coincidence that you mentioned "the Irish, Italians, Polish, etc and unite them under 1 banner" Try to see if you can ever unite "iraqis, Pakistanis Afghans, Sudanese, etc under one flag" Especially if said people reach a threshold of 10-15%. They will be united, but definitely not under the american flag. Soon you'll see it more clearly what's the issue.
