  7. No, it's not funny. Because what christianity did was centuries ago and we fought hard to put them into their place. Islam is here, has not reformed and won't reform and you ignore the danger just to look cool. I'm an atheist myself but living in a christian country. When I reached the age of logic, I decided "i'm atheist" and NOTHING HAPPENED IN MY LIFE. No threats no social pressure, nothing. So do you think that this is the case in Egypt and in Pakistan today? Are they in any way comparable ? You can make fun of christianity as much as you want, and I sure did in my youth. Can you do the same with Islam? Apostate Prophet can't visit Turkey because there is an arrest warrant against him for offending Islam. Turkey is officially secular and is considered the most progressive muslim country, so you can imagine what happens with the rest.

  10. I was helping an Egyptian to settle in my country, he was our worker in the past. He is kind polite and everything. At some point I read a survey that 35% of german muslims think that violence is accepted when someone offends the prophet. I asked him his opinion and he agreed that violence it the appropriate answer to blasphemy!! After than he isn't welcome in my home any more.

  20. 2 years ago I read a book about the gospels. It was really eye opening. What I THOUGHT that gospels said and that's really in the gospels are very different things. Even though I was taught religion in school and I was a good student, in my mind gospels = Franco Jeffirelli's movie. and christian oral tradition was much more hateful towards Jews than the written gospels. I'm an atheist, but living in an orthodox christian country, it's nice to know sometimes wtf is in the holy texts and it's fun to correct the christians. Sometimes they believe widely inaccurate bs.
