  4. they did, but not indefinitely. So yeah, some austerity is definitely needed. Not as a punishment, but as a means to restructure and progress in the long term. We should have started implementing austerity when the times were good, before 2008 but voters preferred went YOLO and voted for bigger public spending.

  14. The answer to your question "what do you do" is debt consolidation. Getting a new loan with LOW INTEREST and extended period of repayment. Leaving Euro would be catastrophic.
