@notbeyonce "The soft bigotry of low expectations." What they're saying without realizing it is "we can't hold brown people to the same standards as white people" which is obviously incredibly racist.

The ships in the incident were two destroyers, USS Maddox and USS Turner Joy; Morrison's father was captain of the carrier USS Bon Homme Richard, which was cruising off Japan when the incidents took place and had pretty much nothing to do with them. Also, the Gulf of Tonkin incident did not start the war, but it did lead to greater US involvement in the war which had been going on for nine years at that time.

I am honestly terrified of the prospect of Biden turning into a vegetable while still theoretically the commander-in-chief, responsible for protecting our country and the free world from the regimes in China, Russia, and Iran. There's a lot I don't like about Trump, but at this point Biden's obvious senility is the one issue that overrides - I might say TRUMPS - all the others.

Why is it that the same people condemning him for speaking his mind off the field and not in uniform are the same ones who think it was wrong to cut Colin Kaepernick (who didn't do his job nearly as well as Butker does)?
