@bryangeake5826 That would leave a massive crater, and there doesn't appear to be one. And supersonic bombs and missiles don't sound anything like that. That was plainly a rocket motor still firing as it descended, which strongly indicates it was fired locally.

@backpackpepelon3867 The blast is from the unburned fuel since the rocket was just starting its flight. Even half a ton of HE would leave a massive crater which we don't see in any of the videos.

@bryangeake5826 The rocket would be subsonic at that early point in its strike, and the damage we see and lack of a crater indicates a modest warhead + lots of rocket fuel, not a huge warhead. Igniting fuel makes a very impressive fireball and more fire than blast damage, which is exactly what was seen here. And no gravity bomb makes a massive WHOOSH as it falls like we hear in the video. I'm not saying it couldn't have been an Israeli rocket, but it absolutely could not be a gravity bomb unless all the video we've seen released by anyone is fake. Lastly, Israel would have to be a colossally stupid to do this intentionally knowing what the reaction around the world would be. They're ruthless, not idiotic. Whoever did it, it was almost certainly an accident.

There is no crater where it hit in the parking lot. Probably a missile with a modest warhead but a lot of fuel left on board which would cause a huge fireball and a massive fire.

@residentgrey Or, you know, HAMAS. I don;t know if Israel has any drones capable firing such a large missile.

@ninjabiatch101 The fact that only one malfunctioned doesn't mean that only one was fired.

There is no crater at all where it hit, which means it probably wasn't a big warhead, it was a rocket fired very nearby that had a modest warhead but at that point in its flight had a large amount of fuel remaining which caused the big fireball. You don't get that when they hit in Israel because they've used all their fuel by then. I keep seeing people claiming it's a JDAM which is nonsense: one, a JDAM doesn't emit a massive WHOOSH when it's falling, and two, a JDAM would leave a huge crater.
3
@stalin2213 it absolutely wasn't a JDAM. One, JDAMs have no motor and are nearly silent as they fall. Two, a JDAM would leave a massive crater and there's no crater at all where the missile hit. The majority of the damage seems to be fire rather than blast which is consistent with a rocket that was fired nearby that would still have most of its fuel when it hit. Rocket fuel causes massive fires but not much blast.

A JDAM would leave a huge crater, which is clearly not there in the aftermath videos. It was a rocket with a smallish warhead but still having lots of fuel remaining when it hit - that would cause the big fireball and massive fire damage we're seeing int he videos.

@troyrager1352 They don't when they hit Israel because they've used all their fuel. If it was a rocket fired nearby it would still have most of its fuel which would cause a huge fireball like the one we see.

Probably a false flag operation by Hamas. They love getting their own people killed if they can point a finger at Israel for it.

@NiaLong-zk1jo Definitely not a JDAM. You can clearly hear the rocket motor before the blast. JDAMs don't have rocket motors or any kind of motor, they are completely silent until they explode.

@NiaLong-zk1jo In the video, yes.
