When was the last time you heard of a European Christian fanatic driving at high speed into a crowd celebrating Ramadan in Morocco or Jordan or Pakistan? I'm thinking that's never.

"To some, this was a case about a young man who took a gun to a protest..." No, it was a case about a young man who took a gun and medical supplies and a fire extinguisher to a RIOT to try and help people whose homes and businesses were under threat of being burned down by modern day Vandals.

@theglassmaster3140 At least Rosenbaum got to go out doing what he loved best - chasing a minor.
25
And if you can point me to any American missiles that were even discussed as being possibly being put in Ukraine, I've got a 2002-vintage Iraqi WMD factory I'd like to sell you. Also, that was 60 years ago and during the Cold War. News flash: the Cold War ended over 30 years ago. And you might note that America kept that agreement and never attempted to invade Cuba again. Russia signed a similar pledge never to invade Ukraine in return for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons, that treaty said nothing about NATO expansion. We see how much Russia's pledges are worth.

You mean the warriors who are fighting for social and racial justice by breaking store windows and stealing arms full of designer clothes in San Francisco? That's really stickin' it to the man, man!
12
It would be an extremely hard case to make, I can't see it making it even as far as a trial before being dismissed

If only Europe, and especially Germany, had a another, completely carbon-free power source, some sort of reactor that could provide gigawatts of clean energy for years from just a few hundred pounds of fuel... one you might say would be the nucleus of energy independence and dramatically lower CO2 emissions...

@thetruthchannel349 What do you think he's interested in? And why do you use the outdated phrasing the Ukraine?
7
It's not an SUV, it's a fully semi-automatic WAGON of WAR!
7
@throttlerthumb9630 Sure, a big difference. How much less dead does that make his victims, exactly?
7
Yeah, well, I was in the Navy and I don't ever remember seeing you there. So there. oh, and tell Putain I said hi.
6
For AMERICAN CITIZENS crossing state lines, and crossing state lines while bearing arms, are constitutional rights. You know what isn't a constitutional right? Rioting, looting, arson, or assault.

@nadyaroy4159 "Everybody who signed an agreement must comply with it." Does that include the Budapest Accord? In case you're having trouble with your research, let me quote it for you: "1. The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine. "2. The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations."

@magicalfairy4390 A handgun is illegal for anyone over 21 to carry. A rifle, in most states including Wisconsin, is not.
5
@thetruthchannel349 Sock account? This is my real name. I'm not a coward like you are, I don't hide behind pseudonyms like "the Truth Channel".
4
@AresGod0fWar They're already saying it.
4
@robertmarmaduke9721 There was never a nation of Pakistan before 1947 - is Pakistan also a fiction? Should India be allowed to annex it? And if Russia gets to reconstitute its old empire, how about Mongolia? If you look back far enough Russia was just a backward province of the Mongolian Empire. How about Britain? Austria-Hungary? Persia? Rome? Do they get their empires back?
3
@granthornin3836 The Ukrainian People's Republic was established on 22 January 1918. Subsequent occupation by the Soviet Empire doesn't change that. I suppose next you Putin lapdogs will be saying that the Baltic states belong to Russia as well.
3
Now that's a REAL police chief. Nightly gunfire is no more news in DC than it is in Chicago. You'd be safer in Aleppo or Kandahar.
3
@SuperSaltydog77 There are no American nuclear missiles in Europe. None. There are a few bases where bombs with nuclear warheads are stored, the closest to Russia is Turkey. And of course the US Navy has nuclear missiles on ships and submarines, as does the Russian Navy. There are no, and never have been any, American nuclear weapons in Poland, Ukraine, or the Baltic States.
2
None of them should have been there. The police should never have sat by and allowed the rioting, arson, and looting to begin with. The citizens of Kenosha should have been able to go to bed without worrying that their homes or businesses were going to be burned down. The Democrats shouldn't have offered encouragement to the people doing the rioting, arson, and looting. But it's precisely because you can't trust the government to protect you - especially from itself - that we have a 2nd Amendment.
2
It is a bad thing. Rule of law is always better. Unfortunately there are too many people in the US today who take the side of murderers, robbers, arsonists, and child rapists and don;t want to let the police do their job. And if the law can't or won't protect decent people from the barbarians, decent people will look to other means of defending themselves, as happened in Kenosha.
2
@ashifhassandev I have an idea, yes. We'll just have to wait and see to confirm or deny it.
2
That doesn't apply to federal and state charges - meaning the state can only charge you once, and the federal government can only charge you once, but charges by one don't bar charges by the other.
2
@KENACT1 There's this thing you may not have heard of called in-flight refueling...
2
@mikeschierkolk6995 Not for minors. Wisconsin law prohibits anyone under 21 from buying or possessing a handgun.
2
I must have missed the part where Mexican artillery was shelling Texas and Mexican tanks were rolling across the border.

@thetruthchannel349 Those billionaire oligarchs are about to lose some of those billions due to sanctions, and I imagine they're going to be very upset with Putin when that happens. They think he does their bidding but as they are finding out he is not that easily controllable. It's the same harsh lesson German billionaires learned with Uncle Adolf - lackeys do not always prove as reliable as you want them to be, and while Putin may understand who the real masters are, he may ignore that for his own reasons, and the people who take orders from him do not know it.
1
I hear they're converting Kaga into a real aircraft carrier. Not a very auspicious name, though.
1
Are you really so f***ing stupid that you don't understand the difference between nuclear and conventional weapons?
1
@opinanlosjovenesrd3477 No, it's all lies.
1
News flash, comrade: it stopped being the Red Army around 1991. And watching this sh1tshow it's becoming obvious why Zhukov said in his memoirs that the Russian steamroller would have run out of steam around Smolensk were it not for American logistics - which, you might note, are not available to them now.
1
Only if you're Russian. Which Kyiv is not.
1
I'm guessing it seems like a war to the people who are being bombed and shelled.
1
So if Britain invaded Ireland or India to reclaim their old empire you'd be okay with that too?
1
Nobody believes Putain's BS.
1
From what I've seen making full bird requires kissing the right a$$es above all else.
1
OBVIOUSLY it's a hate crime if a white dude shots a bunch of black people in a supermarket, but it isn't a hate crime when a black dude shoots a bunch of white and/or Asian people on the subway or rams a car into a bunch of white people in a Christmas parade. Didn't you all get the memo? Also, did anyone notice how quickly all reporting on the latter two disappeared completely from major media as soon as the race and agenda of the perp were identified?
1
"Open war is upon you whether you would risk it or not."
1
Jesus saves us from our sins, God doesn't save us from our stupidity and wickedness.
1
Yeah? They lied.
1
There are at least several thousand Russians who won't be going back to their own country except in body bags. Long live free Ukraine!
1
Grenada.
1
Army Group A? Oh, sorry, same places, wrong war.
1
South korea and South Vietnam were both invaded by their neighbors. Last I heard Ukraine never invaded Russia. Anyway isn't the Cold War supposed to be over?
1
Trump envies Putain, Putain would never let a silly thing like losing an election put him out of office.
1
Probably the best outcome is one of Putain's plutocrat backers has one of his bodyguards put a bullet in the back of his head. They didn't make him president for life so he could provoke Europe into seizing all the ill-gotten wealth they've stashed away there, they've got to be pretty darned mad right now.
1
@granthornin3836 So if the US decides it wants to annex Canada, it's okay for the US to invade Canada if Canada doesn't have a big enough army to beat the US?
1
I prefer Putain.
1
@vladG30 OK Putin.
