Yeah, well, I was in the Navy and I don't ever remember seeing you there. So there. oh, and tell Putain I said hi.

@KENACT1 There's this thing you may not have heard of called in-flight refueling...
2
I must have missed the part where Mexican artillery was shelling Texas and Mexican tanks were rolling across the border.
1
I hear they're converting Kaga into a real aircraft carrier. Not a very auspicious name, though.
1
Are you really so f***ing stupid that you don't understand the difference between nuclear and conventional weapons?
1
@opinanlosjovenesrd3477 No, it's all lies.
1
News flash, comrade: it stopped being the Red Army around 1991. And watching this sh1tshow it's becoming obvious why Zhukov said in his memoirs that the Russian steamroller would have run out of steam around Smolensk were it not for American logistics - which, you might note, are not available to them now.
1
Only if you're Russian. Which Kyiv is not.
1
I'm guessing it seems like a war to the people who are being bombed and shelled.
1
Nobody believes Putain's BS.
1
From what I've seen making full bird requires kissing the right a$$es above all else.
1
"Open war is upon you whether you would risk it or not."
1
Jesus saves us from our sins, God doesn't save us from our stupidity and wickedness.
1
Yeah? They lied.
1
There are at least several thousand Russians who won't be going back to their own country except in body bags. Long live free Ukraine!
1
Grenada.
1
Army Group A? Oh, sorry, same places, wrong war.
1
South korea and South Vietnam were both invaded by their neighbors. Last I heard Ukraine never invaded Russia. Anyway isn't the Cold War supposed to be over?
1
Trump envies Putain, Putain would never let a silly thing like losing an election put him out of office.
1
Probably the best outcome is one of Putain's plutocrat backers has one of his bodyguards put a bullet in the back of his head. They didn't make him president for life so he could provoke Europe into seizing all the ill-gotten wealth they've stashed away there, they've got to be pretty darned mad right now.
1
I prefer Putain.
1
@vladG30 OK Putin.
1
They have Kaliningrad. You know what they don't have now? Passage through the Bosporus.
1
A small price to pay compared to what the world will pay if Putain wins.
1
The economy?
1
How many of those MiGs ever made it back to Russia? Not too many from what I've heard. They also came with Russian pilots although that was top secret at the time.
1
There was no agreement that the US and UK would defend Ukraine. There was an agreement that the US and UK would not violate Ukrainian sovereignty and neither would Russia. Russia is the only one that has broken that agreement. Australia is a completely different case, it was a member of the British Commonwealth and was already fighting at Britain's side in Europe and North Africa, Britain was absolutely obliged to come to Australia's defense and failed to do so. The US and Australia have been allies since that time and the US will NEVER fail to honor that alliance just as Australia has never failed to do the same.
1
@pjmjdmurdach4792 Because Ukraine isn't a member. NATO is a defensive alliance.
1
@lancecahill5486 For a force in control they sure seem to have a lot of planes and helos getting shot down.
1
Hopefully his generals have no desire to commit suicide. It's not really a button, you know, the orders have to go through military channels.
1
He'll get rid of those bio labs just like Bush got rid of Iraqi WMDs.
1
@demonrat1319 There was no agreement that brought down the Berlin Wall. The USSR was broke and couldn't afford to prop up its puppet governments any more and without Soviet tanks banking them those regimes fell quicker than Biden fell down that aircraft stairway. Ukraine became a country two years later when the USSR itself fell apart after the hardliners tried to overthrow Gorbachev in a coup and failed. They held a referendum in Ukraine and independence got 90% of the vote - the first free election held in Ukraine since the Bolshevik Revolution. NATO and the US played no part in it except to sit back and eat popcorn. There was a treaty in which Ukraine agreed to give up its nuclear weapons in return for a guarantee that the US, UK, and Russia would respect its borders... now we're seeing what Russia's word is worth.
1
@KENACT1 Which is why you do it outside the hostile air environment, then fly into the hostile air environment.
1
Ah, the "sl@t was asking for it" school rears its ugly head.
1
Act how, throw more of Lil' Kim's family to starving dogs? North Korea can't even feed its people.
1
Of the whole country?
1
Zelensky is looking pretty gutsy to me.
1
Forever a backwater sh1thole, sure. It's really too bad, it's a great culture run into the ground by communism and still not recovered.
1
@pjmjdmurdach4792 Yes, Putin can't afford to have a free country on his border, his people might start to question why they have no rights and corrupt plutocrats have all the money.
1
That's a looooong "take".
1
That's as premature as your dad was on his wedding night.
1
I mean, neither could the US or the British Empire. Afghanistan is where great empires go to die.
