OBVIOUSLY it's a hate crime if a white dude shots a bunch of black people in a supermarket, but it isn't a hate crime when a black dude shoots a bunch of white and/or Asian people on the subway or rams a car into a bunch of white people in a Christmas parade. Didn't you all get the memo? Also, did anyone notice how quickly all reporting on the latter two disappeared completely from major media as soon as the race and agenda of the perp were identified?
