This is idiocy. War isn't caused by weapons. War is caused by aggression in human beings. And weakness only encourages aggression. Apparently some people learned nothing from Munich v.1938.

@zachschlabach8928 They certainly do have a big part to play: those who don't have them invariably get conquered by those who do.

@zachschlabach8928 I don't think Putin is a genocidal maniac like Hitler. I do think he is a bully, risk-taker, and sociopath who will keep pushing until someone pushes back. And I would agree that Russia has legitimate grievances, but when a guy robs a gas station at gunpoint, you don't ask whether he has a legitimate grievance about the price of gas.
