  1. We aren't opposed to rooting out wasteful spending and fraud. Unfortunately, that is just simply not what Elon is doing. Even if USAID was just shut down completely today it only accounts for less than 2% of the federal budget. Musk is helping himself by removing oversight on his companies, he is lying about what the grants he is cancelling are even for, and he is distracting from the fact that Trump has no real plan to solve anything. He's just an increasingly unhinged old man, raging at pennies and paper straws, and renaming international bodies of water.
