I am sure that the ECJ will give any arguments made by Britain a fair and unbiased hearing. I also believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

Who knows? No one has attempted to implement it.

@MrGieltedze Indeed. Perhaps you have noticed the date, 2015? When Britain was still one of the club, not a leper-like outsider.

@MrGieltedze Fair enough. The point is, however, that the members of the ECJ are appointed on the basis of one per EU member state. It publishes decisions, but not the reasons for them, nor the numbers voting for or against such decisions revealed. Despite the name, it is a political, not a judicial, body.

@stephenconway2468 Look again. Dyson won his claim in 2018, but the ECJ ruled in late 2021 that Dyson was not entitled to receive compensation.
