  1. If he believes that about the people of Liverpool, then he probably hasn't been there recently. I live within 30 miles of Liverpool, and unfortunately am required to visit on a regular basis. The rest of his comment is equally dubious. Governments do not judge criminal cases, and the sentences handed down are determined by Judges. Perhaps, of course, he believes that a Labour government would change this?
