  1. Of course it is 'cultural desecration.' That is exactly what is intended. The people of Britain (or, at least, England) need to be made aware of precisely where they stand as the new order of things is being established, and destroying their sense of their history is clearly regarded as a sensible start. Doubtless, of course, more will follow.
