Amazon workers need to be aware that, when a number of Hermes/Evri couriers were campaigning to have their false 'self-employed' status corrected not many years ago, the GMB initially supported them, then suddenly sold them out to Hermes management. Amazon have many more resources than Hermes/Evri. Do not be surprised if something similar happens here.

  2.  @Thirdfish  Certainly Evri have a terrible reputation, but their 'self employed' couriers are not 'employees.' The reality is that these people are treated with utter contempt by what passes for management, and as a result, many of the decent, reliable, couriers have left. During the Christmas peak, interviews tend to be two minute jobs. If you have a heartbeat, you can become an Evri courier.
