  1. Actually, they didn't. Only around one in five of them voted for Labour. Around 500,000 less than voted for Jazzer in 2019.

  2. It seems to be what Prime Ministers have begun to do. Surround yourself with people who are largely not up to the job, and thus no potential threat to you. Grant Shapps being the obvious example. A serial failure who steadily rose through the ranks.
