  1. HS2 seems to have taken the place of the banks during the crash. Too big to be allowed to fail. Now that HS2's higher management know that the project is fireproof, just watch how the cost estimates will soar.

  2.  @johnny2hats330  If ever a new Beveridge Report was needed, now is the time. It won't happen, of course, because the mighty NHS is the most sacred of sacred cows. Ask any of the many administrators who never see a patient, but are paid healthy salaries with gold plated pensions, and who will fight to the death to protect both.
