@ParawhoreLoL Really? Was British culture forced upon, for example, India? As, at the height of the Raj, there were around 30,000 British Civil Servants in India, among a population of around 169 million, how did they manage to do that?

At the Battle of Assaye in 1803, the British contingent present consisted of two infantry regiments, one cavalry regiment, and 17 cannon. The bulk of Wellesley's forces were Company troops from Mysore: five sepoy infantry battalions of the Madras Native Infantry and three squadrons of Madras Native Cavalry. Irregular light cavalry were also provided by the company's Mysore and Maratha allies.
