@TonyToning-ne7uq You don't consider that a car might be a weapon? Especially one driven by someone who had been ordered to stop by other officers and had disobeyed? What should the officer have done? Waited until the car had hit him before responding?

@jeffbarrett1787 If they refuse to stop, and then drive the car at police cars and officers, then yes they can be.
