@randomuser4201 I think he is referring to the manner in which certain politicans have sought to overrule the referendum since the day of the vote, and, with the co-operation of the Civil Service (now thoroughly politicised since the days of 'Sir' Tony), have worked tirelessly to undermine a democratic vote.

Although Johnson has contributed to his own probable downfall, the way events have unfolded bear some of the hallmarks of a carefully planned and orchestrated coup. We appear to be experiencing the final days of what used, at least theoretically, to have been democratic government.

@randomuser4201 At least on the surface, this is not relevant to Brexit. In reality, it is beginning to look like a carefully planned coup to reverse it, although the plotters will, of course, never admit this to the peasantry.
