One of the many advantages of being a millionaire Islington based Human Rights lawyer is that any inconvenience doesn't affect you personally. As we saw during the Dear Leader's State Visit to Southport, he doesn't bother talking to members of the peasantry anyway.

@AlanFagan-y5l You mean like hitler, Pol Pot, Chairman Mao, or Joe Stalin?

@countfosco8535 'Only on GB News. Everyone else seems to be ok with him.' Sorry, Comrade. You really need to get out more.

@AlanFagan-y5l Starmer was not judged when in opposition as 'weak' but as someone who would pretend to agree with whatever the last person who spoke to him had said. If you feel that demonising 80% of the British population as right wing racist thugs and setting his attack dogs on them is 'strong' then I would prefer a weaker, more decent, Prime Minister. As best I can determine, his plan to solve the migration problem is to have a chat with the Premier of Italy about policing. That should sort it, I expect.

@newpuritan9292 You do not accept that 80% of the population are not the white British recently condemned as extreme right wing racists by the Dear Leader? Oh well.

@AlanFagan-y5l I thought that the Dear Leader had a plan to stop the gangs? 'Leadership qualities?' I wonder how many people really hero-worship him as you seem to do? Previous administrations talked to European leaders, and gave them substantial amounts of money, with no benefit to Britain. Explain how Starmer's approach is any different.

@newpuritan9292 Perhaps you should read what people actually write before commenting? My post said 'If you feel that demonising 80% of the British population as right wing racist thugs and setting his attack dogs on them is 'strong' then I would prefer a weaker, more decent, Prime Minister.' I did not suggest that 80% of the people of the UK approved of what had happened. In fact, I was appalled at the events myself. Equally, however, I found that the blanket condemnation issued by Starmer of people such as myself or, come to that, you, was disgraceful and not to be expected of so senior a politician.

@AlanFagan-y5l No, he will not. The British system of Governance ensures that a Prime Minister with a working majority can remain in office, and do more or less whatever he/she chooses to do, for as long as sufficient MPs are willing to troop obediently into the voting lobbies. The proper term is an 'Elective Dictatorship.' How else was the previous shambles that was the last Conservative administration able to survive as long as it did?
