The film depicts Britain's struggle against a dictator who seeks to conquer the world, which could be considered to have been a relevant theme at the time. For those who worry about these things, don't worry, Olivier & Vivien Leigh are never seen in bed together, nor even partially unclothed! Not surprisingly, it was Churchill's favourite film.
