  1. After Operation Pedestal had completed, Roger Hill, captain of one of the destroyers involved in getting Ohio into Grand Harbour (HMS Ledbury) put in a claim for salvage to the Admiralty. Around 30 months later, Hill received a payment from their Lordships. £19 18s 4d.
