I'm sure the guards at any Concentation Camp also said it was nothing personal.

Which comment, repeated by you on frequent occasions, is, as usual, irrelevant.
1
'Mr. Aujard, you were Former General Counsel for the Post Office. Is that correct?' Was I? I don't recall that. Where am I, by the way, and who are you? Please remind me what my name is, again?
1
'Potential route for migrants?' Does this creature actually know where the Chagos Islands are, or is he simply parrotting a script given to him?
1
@obiwanjabroniX They now become a colony of Mauritius, a state for which the people of the Chagos Islands have little respect, and a considerable degree of fear. Do you enjoy parading your ignorance?
1
@waynewal971 If no rules were broken, why did the Dear Leader feel it necessary to hand a few quid back, seemingly for the sake of appearances?
1
These are CGI 'images' not actual pictures.
1
How about you return to earth occasionally?
1
@flickthenick But what if the only way to pay your taxes was to close down your company and sell it off?
1
@flickthenick Because most British people have developed a perverse desire to eat something called 'food' on a regular basis. You really cannot be as simple as you pretend, surely?
1
Proven false on myriad occasions, ever since the claim was invented in the mid 1990s.
1
They do pay their taxes. Are you really incapable of grasping the difference between normal taxation and inheritance tax?
1
@colinyates7485 Perhaps you don't understand the concept of 'land rich but cash poor?' Seemingly not. Put very simply, most farmers affected by this tax will be obliged to sell off land in order to pay the bill. At best, their farms will be significantly reduced in size. At worst, the remaining farm will become unviable. I assume that you actually do wish to continue to eat? 'I bet most of them voted for Brexit.' I presume you mean that anyone who so voted must be punished? That seems to be what you really mean.
1
Farmers, like the rest of us, pay their taxes. Surely you are not too stupid to understand the difference between normal taxation and inheritance tax. By the way, farmers are not receiving subsidies out of government generosity, but because the population of Britain has developed a liking for eating. Even you, probably.
1
Multi-millionaires urging the little peopl to vote for Harris? Oh well.
1
That does seem to be the inevitable conclusion. There is nothing more dangerous than a desperate politician seeking an exciting overseas adventure to distract from his domestic failures.
1
They do pay their taxes, you fool. Their land is worthless until/unless it is sold. Once that happens, there will be one less farm. I assume that you do actually eat something called 'food' occaasionally?
1
Who is this 'we' that you claim to speak for? It seems that you haven't viewed the whole 50+ minutes of the meeting. Still, you can make your heroic gesture, as Ukraine are eager for front line volunteers.
1
Not everyone who disagrees with you is, ipso facto, a bot. As The Lord Protector said in August, 1650, “I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be mistaken”
1
I wonder how many of the people who oppose his visit have actually seen the whole of the meeting, not just the tiny section the BBC chose to show?
1
Whatever his motives, Trump soes seem to seek an end to the war. Unlike European 'leaders' and still less our very own 'Dear Leader.'
1
@alazarn7 I believe that a small group with such a name lived in a place called Knotty Ash, near Liverpool.
1
If anyone sought for proof that the House of the Living Dead is not fit for purpose, here it is.
1
He is President of the United States, you idiot!
1
They already do. Are you so dense or so indoctrinated that you cannot grasp the difference between taxation and inheritance tax?
1
@flickthenick It isn't a tax dodge. The land the farmers own is worth little unless/until the farmer sells up in order to meet inheritance tax demands. At which point, the farm becomes an unviable business, and a little less food is produced. I assume even a loyal comrade like you eats from time to time. Read about what Genial Joe Stalin did to the Kulaks in the 1930s, and the effect it had on the Soviet Union. Is that what you really want?
1
@flickthenick 'sure for actual farmers then maybe.' Isn't it the real effect on actual farmers that this debate is all about?
1
@flickthenick Oh dear. Exactly the sort of childish non-answer I had rather expected.
1
@flickthenick You could always try claiming that your garden is really a farm. I wonder how far that would get you with the local council? Did you attend the same Economics course as Rachel Reeves?
1
@flickthenick You are going round in circles, you fool. They already do pay their taxes. I bet you would have absolutely loved Genial Uncle Joe's treatment of the Kulaks in the 1930s. So what if a few million did starve?
1
Farmers pay their taxes. Are you really gormless enough not to know that?
1
@fireburn95rs Really? How many actually have made such claims, then? Admittedly, a number might do that now, as the people of the Chagos Islands have had a degree of antipathy towards their new overlords for many years.
1
@jonathanbuzzard1376 Acually, around 60. Tamils who fled from persecution in Sri Lanka.
1
You really shouldn't swallow conspiracist videos whole. When you repeat what they say, it does tend to make you look something of an idiot.
1
Easily solved. Just raise employer national insurance charges a bit more. Probably, Rachel from Accounts is already onto it.
