  1. This Jonathan has a point. England should throw the borders totally open (obviously, this would not apply to Wales or Scotland) and build on every remaining piece of farmland and green belt. We could all then live in total harmony inside small cubicles, and be fed healthy nutrition by a kind government. Soylent Green, perhaps?

  2. I didn't know that Universities gave out degrees in 'This Kind of Stuff.' Mine was Modern History. Yes, I know, how quaint & old fashioned.

  3. Actually, we don't have the space. The most recent figures for population per square kilometre have England at 434, compared to India at 435. Scotland, by the way, is 70. Wales is 153. The vast majority of our new guests, of course, settle in England.
