Presumably, you couldn't be bothered actually to watch the video?

@BillSikes. I am sorry that your short term memory is defective. What you actually wrote was 'That's true modern War fought with Napoleonic tactics.' Followed by :- 'squadrons of cavalrymen on horseback armed with sabres and lances, charging the enemy just had they had done at Waterloo, one hundred years earlier.' Both wrong, of course. Are you unaware that the Blackadder idea of WW1 is not an accurate one?

@BillSikes. Really? Was there much trench warfare at Austerlitz or Leipzig?

@BillSikes. The last cavalry charge by British soldiers against the Germans was on 24 August, 1914. After that, until the front stabilised, British cavalry operated as mobile infantry, using the Short Magazine Lee Enfield Rifle, supplemented by machine guns. I didn't know that old Boney used machine guns, by the way.

@richardlewis7498 Is that what you think? Oh well!

@BillSikes. I see. As you are unable to answer with a credible response, you feel the need to resort to insults. A sure admission of defeat.
