You surely must have a degree of sympathy for Reeves. She looks to have aged ten years in the last sixth months. Perhaps realising that you are in a job utterly beyond your capabilities, yet seeing no clear way out of it, does that to a person.

@michaelholmes3331 The book 'The Peter Principle' explains it cogentlty : 'The Peter principle is a concept in management developed by Laurence J. Peter which observes that people in a hierarchy tend to rise to "a level of respective incompetence": employees are promoted based on their success in previous jobs until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent, as skills in one job do not necessarily translate to another.'
