Comments by "doveton sturdee" (@dovetonsturdee7033) on "The fuss about casting a white man in the role of Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights" video.
Perhaps Heathcliff was standing in front of a blackboard at the time? I am allowed to write 'blackboard' I hope?

How many people today know of the deleted chapter in Wuthering Heights where Heathcliff teaches Edgar Linton the correct way to prepare Goat Curry?

@versioncity1 Did you actually read the article in 'Metro,' written by Nicole Vassell, on 25 September? Evidently not.

@versioncity1 'yes I did. Your point is?' Don't you recall writing : 'No-one actually is. it's a fallacious argument.' Self-evidently, someone is.

@versioncity1 So, you haven't read the article after all. Either that, or you are simply totally misreading it. To save you from reading it at this late stage, this is what is actually written in the 'Metro.' 'However, the majority of the criticism over this casting has been reserved for the choice to cast Elordi, a white man, as Heathcliff – a famously non-white character. And to me, the pushback is valid – even a cursory search on Google will point to Brontë’s Heathcliff being a person of colour, so why is he being represented by a white actor?'

@versioncity1 You seem to be getting bad tempered, I observe. I did say it was taken from the article. Sorry you failed to notice. Perhaps you didn't read far enough to reach the last sentence, which is here for you. Again, cut and pasted:- 'even a cursory search on Google will point to Brontë’s Heathcliff being a person of colour, so why is he being represented by a white actor?'

@versioncity1 If you really cannot understand the meaning of the comment in the article, then presumably English is not your first language? Whether this be so or not, I find obvious trolls tedious, and will now ignore you.
