@vincentnord5914 I am from a place called Manchester, in the North West of England. I am also an historian, with a First in Modern History. I haven't expressed an opinion on American politics, but on the inevitable consequences of American policies. When the supposed leader of the Free World ceases to demonstrate leadership, then this should be a matter of great concern to us all. You should read 'Recessional' by Rudyard Kipling. It seems to describe what happened to the British Empire, and what is beginning to happen to the American one.

@homertangler9529 Whether true or false, that is hardly an argument. The reality is that the nation which leads the free world, or at least used to, is now demonstrating what happens to states who place their faith in US support. Who, after Vietnam part two currently being demonstrated in Afghanistan, can ever trust in a US 'alliance' ever again?
