Except, of course for the way it ignored the Canadians.

It is doubtful that Rommel's absence made much, if any, difference. 'Marshal Laddie' as von Rundstedt called him, had no control over the disposition of the German armour in France, and the man who did was asleep and couldn't be disturbed. Moreover, Rommel & von Rundstedt had profound disagreements over how to respond to a landing in any case.

@Nothing-ui7pj Indeed, the British & French had large overseas empires and certainly they exploited their resources. I don't however, recall the British & French systematically butchering millions of people because they didn't like their race, their religion, or their disabilities.
2
@Nothing-ui7pj There is something of a difference between the way that colonies were administered in normal times, and the way that, actually both sides, might behave in wartime. Even so, gassing & extermination was not the policy of the French government, whereas it was that of the nazis.
2
@Nothing-ui7pj You mean like how most of the former British colonies were so appalled by they treatment that they are still enthusiastic members of the Commonwealth, or how an India previously governed by a number of autocratic rulers was left with a democratic government, a centralised administration, an advanced education system, and a transport network superior to almost any other in Africa or Asia? To compare the kind of state extermination policies followed by the nazis with the policies followed by the old colonial powers is completely dishonest.
2
@Nothing-ui7pj So? Why not tell me which parts of my posts have been 'propaganda?' Does the Commonwealth exist or not? Has India got an extensive transport network, an advanced educational and administrative systems or not? A flourishing democracy or not? Which western country, other than nazi Germany, has ever implemented a policy of state-sponsored mass extermination? I really don't care what you see in my posts. I know exactly what I see in your.
2
@Nothing-ui7pj You seem strangely unwilling to accept that only one western country has ever pursued a state policy of mass extermination. I wonder why that might be? Nonsensical ranting always comes a poor second to reasoned argument, although some think that they to use it to conceal personal bigotry or prejudice. Do go away.

How would he have done that?
