  3. Perhaps you are unaware that Glasfurd's actions resulted in damage to Scharnhorst serious enough to keep her out of action until November, 1940?

  4.  @Ozraptor4  There was an intention to re-arm the Scharnhorsts, and after the Channel Dash Gneisenau's triple turrets were removed with this in mind, but no further progress was made. The triples were used as coast defence guns, and one still survives. The former 'C' turret at Austratt Fort near Trondheim, Norway.
