@CH-vb5kr 'Every Year?' Constant election campaigning. Do you really think that a good idea? Moreover, any member who is de-elected will immediately be claiming compensation, as current MPs do. How every member of the current HoL votes is already a matter of public record.

Why do you think that Blair deliberately imposed left of centre people upon what had been a hitherto purely impartial administrative body? Like many of Britain's current problems, the origins can be traced back to 'Sir' Tony, although to be fair the faux Tory governments have contributed a few of their own.
