  1. Gary is wealthy enough to seek a further lucrative career in the Labour Party. Clearly, in order to progress, he must demonstrate his dislike of flags, and in particular the Union Flag and the flag of St. George. If he didn't, the big beasts of the Labour Party, such as David Lammy and Lady Nugee, would simply not accept him.
