Eye witness accounts.

Odd that no survivors reported, or even suggested, anything remotely similiar to this? Perhaps they simply lacked your vivid imagination.
7
Actually, a number did report the break. Oceanographers at Wood's Hole have recently suggested the the compact spread of the debris field suggests a breakup at a lower lever. Surely, this is a detail of the sinking? What actually are the circumstances leading to up to the sinking.

You could apply exactly the same comment to aircraft, trains, cars, and, indeed, any form of transport. With a similar lack of credibility.
3
Indeed. Cameron should have shown a little more respect.

Really? Whose submarine launched it, why, and how did the submarine get to Newfoundland?

@dylanclay2741 1). What did many survivors see? a mass hallucination? 2). What did the ships in the area which transmitted iceberg warnings see? Large lumps of expanded polystyrene? 3). What did passengers aboard Carpathia photograph as they approached Titanic's position? 4). What has the International Ice Patrol been monitoring for over 100 years? 5). What has the recent sinking of Titan to do with anything?

No such technology existed in 1912.

I don't think that the Inquiry concerned itself much with the details of the sinking, only with the events that brought it about.
2
@billysummers1616 Unfair. Probably nearer single figures.
2
So, the survivors who reported an iceberg were suffering from mass hallucinations, then?
2
It doesn't sink.
1
@jacobkleinsasser5658 That is because it is simply a simulation.
1
Perhaps that explains why no one ever did?
1
@SamOfTheSmokies76 You really think that God is so vindictive. Not to say so badly misinformed?
1
You would be better looking at facts rather than fantasies if you are interested.

Harland & Wolff were paid £3 million for the first two Olympics.
1
Of course it did. Presumably launched from a black ops group of Wright Flyers, led by J. P. Morgan? Yes. Listen to the survivors, and their accounts of the iceberg collision.
1
Which might explain why they didn't say anything of the sort.
1
No, he didn't. The Engineer, that is.
1
She actually sank in about two hours & forty minutes.
1
Indeed, losing both her sisters within four years. Still, Old Reliable then experienced an illustrious 23 year career, in peace & war, and is the only ocean liner ever to have sunk a U-boat.
1
@dylanclay2741 Good idea. Avoid discussing Titanic completely.
1
It has been questioned by oceanographers at Wood's Hole, but opinions are divided.
